3D printing a sustainable future, on land and sea

Deliver low-carbon and futuristic structural terracotta products through cutting-edge 3D printing technology and energy-efficient hardening methods.

Artificial reef

Our artificial reef modules are a practical solution for making new coral reefs at scale and helping reverse the decline of coral reefs caused by climate change and human impact. Our team has developed a groundbreaking carbon negative terracotta-based artificial reef structure. By the use of 3D printing and an energy-efficient hardening method, we cut off 98% of carbon emissions, compared to the existing solutions.

The combination of 3D printing and natural carbon-negative materials allows us to create customizable, modular, and sustainable artificial reefs that promote coral attachment and growth, while the incorporated biomimicry provides shelter for marine fauna and faster restoration of the entire ecosystem.

About us

In Thrasos 3D, we develop carbon-neutral/carbon-negative ceramic construction components for various environments. Our environment-oriented approach combines zero-waste 3D printing with carbon-negative ceramic materials and energy-efficient sintering with microwaves, employing state-of-the-art technology and scientific expertise to make a positive impact on marine biodiversity and aiming to decarbonize marine construction. Altogether, it results in genuinely sustainable structures for land and sea.
